sock bun fail

it may look like my first ever sock bun turned out, but let me reassure you: it did not. it's not as easy as they say with thin hair! my sock is totally showing on the left side :( and it was a special wool sock i've had since 2006 that was hanging on by a tread after wearing them for 5 days straight on a camping trip...and i just went a cut off the toe end.

at least i tried. i applaud those of you who have this technique down.

Ha ha! I'm the same way with my thin hair. I can get it to work eventually, but it takes much longer than I'd like to admit. Of course, yours looks really great, so you should give yourself some credit.

LOL if it makes you feel any better... i can't get the sock in my hurrr at ALL. I just fake the ballerina bun with tons of bobby pins :) I think it still looks cute the way you have it though!
