st. george // weekend road trip pt 1

we somewhat spontaneously joined liz & tj at their condo in st. george for the weekend. and they were kind enough to let us bring the pups along. we left after work on friday to make the 7 hour drive (complete with a dinner stop at café rio in grand junction!). we're always talking about how we should go away for the weekend, or how nice it would be to have friends to travel with...well sometimes you just got to go do it!

this was husband's very first time in utah and i haven't been to st. george in many many years. the warm weather was such a treat. i don't remember a time when we've squeezed quite so much into just a couple days! this trip included a morning hike, touring around downtown st. george, sharing frozen custard at nielsen's, playing at snow canyon's sand dunes, and a mini pizza pool party all in one day.
